Provisional specification: Declaration by Maud Antoinette Duthoit concerning the purpose and feature of the invention.
‘The object of the present invention is the construction of an orrery and tellurion or the like which, while suited for individual use or for class instruction, and correctly planned from a scientific standpoint, is nevertheless simple, cheap, compact and readily portable’.
The orrery or tellurium is attached to a removable pillar forming the centre about which the earth turns, which is designed to project upwards from an astronomical chart.

A fold-out illustration of the instrument is provided, dimensions 330 x 297 mm.
